Two Health Care Climate Council members will be featured speakers at the Climate Leadership Conference Feb. 28 through March 2 in Denver.

This year’s keynote speakers include Jeff Thompson, M.D., Gundersen Health chief executive officer emeritus, who will speak on “Strategies and Partnerships to Meet Ambitious Local Climate Goals,” and Jon Utech, Cleveland Clinic Office for a Healthy Environment senior director, who will address “Collaborative Resilience Planning for Strong Local Economies.”
Other featured speakers include Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper; Katharine Hayhoe, leading climate scientist; the Honorable Catherine McKenna, Canada's Minister of Environment and Climate Change; and Michael Hancock, Denver's 45th mayor.
