Over 700 health care experts from across the U.S. participated in Health Care Without Harm and Practice Greenhealth’s CleanMed conference in Pittsburgh. The conference included a notable session moderated by Health Care Without Harm senior advisor Kathy Gerwig, which featured leaders from the federal Office of Climate Change and Health Equity, The Joint Commission, and Providence. These experts discussed the growing momentum around climate action in the health care sector and the necessary steps to achieve ambitious climate change mitigation and resilience targets.
